With Black Friday approaching and Christmas just around the corner, we're seeing an increase in opportunistic parcel thefts across the borough. More deliveries = more chances for thieves, especially when parcels are left in clear view.

A few quick steps can reduce the risk.

- Ask a trusted neighbour to take parcels if you're out.
- Use a secure delivery option like local parcel lockers, collection points or a secure lock box at your property.
- Add delivery instructions so parcels are left out of sight.
- Keep an eye on tracking so items are not sitting outside for long.
- Check your CCTV OR Video doorbell is working and aimed at your doorway.
